What is the difference between a certificate and a declaration of conformity?
A certificate is issued by an accredited body and confirms compliance with DSTU/GOST. The declaration is completed by the importer themselves — confirming compliance with EU and Ukrainian technical regulations.
Which products require mandatory certification?
Electronics, clothing and footwear, medical and chemical substances, cosmetics, food products, vehicles, video equipment. The full list is in State Consumer Standard Order No. 28 of 01.02.2005.
How long does it take to process a certificate?
It depends on the type of product and document. We agree on a realistic timeframe before starting work and monitor its execution.
