How We Work
ONE CONTAINER — THE ENTIRE ROUTE
The cargo in the container travels the entire route without transshipment — only the mode of transport changes: road, rail, or ferry. We issue a single document and are responsible for safety at every stage of the route.
What is the difference between combined and multimodal?
Combined transport means cargo travels in a single transport unit without transshipment. Multimodal transport allows transshipment between different modes of transport.
Can air and sea transport be combined?
Yes. A typical scheme involves a fast air leg for the urgent part of the consignment, combined with sea transport for oversized or budget-friendly cargo.
Who is responsible for the cargo?
UAWAY — from the point of origin in China to your warehouse. One contract, one operator, full responsibility.
How is the price for combined transportation formed?
The price consists of the cost of each leg of the route + coordination and documents. We fix the amount before shipment — no additional payments afterwards.
